Terms and conditions

When booking with The Firebreak, the following terms and conditions apply:

Payment Policy:

- To secure your reservation, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. This percentage includes all room charges, applicable taxes, and any additional services or amenities you choose to add.

- Your reservation is considered confirmed only after the successful processing of your deposit payment, and you will receive an email confirmation containing the details of your stay.

- Your credit card will then be charged for the outstanding balance of your stay 14 days prior to check in. If this payment is unable to be processed at this time, we will contact you prior to cancelling your reservation. 

- We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods as specified.

Cancellation Policy:

At The Firebreak, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our Cancellation Policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our business. Please take a moment to review our policy to understand the terms and conditions for canceling your reservation:

- Cancellation made more than 7 days before your check-in date will result in the forfeiture of 30% of your total booking. 

- Cancellations within 7 days of arrival or less will result in the loss of the full accommodation cost. No refunds will be issued.

- No refunds or discounts will be provided for early departures, no-shows, or any unused portion of your stay.

Check-in and Check-out:

- Check-in time is from 2pm, and check-out time is at 10am. Late check-outs may be subject to additional charges.

Occupancy:

- Each cabin has a maximum occupancy limit of 2 guests. Exceeding this limit without prior consent may result in additional charges or eviction without a refund.

House Rules:

- Guests are expected to adhere to all house rules provided upon check-in. These rules may include noise restrictions, no-smoking policies, and other cabin-specific instructions.

Damages and Loss:

- Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required during their stay. The cost of repairs, replacements, or cleaning will be charged to the guest's credit card on file.

Pets:

- Due to farm bio-security, pets are not allowed at The Firebreak unless stated otherwise in cabin-specific policies.

- Please contact us should you wish to discuss this further if you have a certified assistance animal. 

Amendments and Changes:

- Changes to your reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Force Majeure:

- We are not responsible for any cancellations or alterations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Privacy Policy:

- We respect your privacy and will use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

Liability:

- We do not accept responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your stay.

Agreement:

- By making a reservation with The Firebreak, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions and any specific policies or rules provided.
